The town of Aloha is home to the Aloha High School, which opened in 1970. It cost about $8 million to build, and featured movable walls and a Hawaiian theme. The crest of the school depicts a Hawaiian Warrior, a United States flag, and the State of Oregon. The city’s crest was designed by a student steering committee in 1968, and features the word “Aloha” in an original custom font.

The average temperature in Aloha is approximately twenty-one degrees Fahrenheit. It rarely gets colder than 25 degrees, and summers can get very hot. The rainy season in Aloha lasts eleven months, with only two months free of rain. Snow falls in Aloha only three times a year, and the average annual rainfall is only three inches. While the weather in Aloha may be mild, it can still be chilly in the winter, especially in April and May.

One of the best features of Aloha is its prime location in the Pacific Northwest. Aloha residents enjoy year-round access to the Oregon Coast, the Willamette River, and Mt. Hood. The city also boasts lush farmland that supports local vineyards and attracts wine enthusiasts from around the country. The city was incorporated in 1912. The first post office in the city was opened in the town on January 8, 1912. Julius Buck, a railroad businessman, named the town after a small resort on Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin. The name was transposed by the Post Office Department, so that the word Aloha was born. The Buck family settled west of Beaverton. So, how did this city get its name? For rhinoplasty surgery contact The Portland Center For Facial Plastic Surgery in Hillsboro Oregon
